Friday's Feast #1

Appetizer
When was the last time you received a surprise in the mail, and what was it?

Yesterday....I got my package from Christmas Around the World Knitters Swap. It was filled with all sorts of surprizes including a handpainted glass ball with an angel on it...one of a kind. I just loved it!

Soup
If you could have a summer and/or winter home, where would you want it to be?

If I could have a summer and or winter home, it would be in one of the southern states....Tennesse or South Carolina probably. I just love the countryside, history and weather.

Salad
Pick one: pineapple, orange, banana, apple, cherry.

Cherry

Main Course
Describe the nicest piece of clothing that you own.

A green suede coat with blanket cloth around the shoulders.
It was a surprize gift on Christmas from my hubby and it holds a special place in my heart and wardrobe to this day.

Dessert
If you could forget one whole day from your life, which day would you choose to wipe from your memory?

Actually I would be greedy and chose two...the days my sons passed away.
I love the memory of my sons but the days they died are a dark spot that clouds over from time to time.

That package looks awesome! What a great surprise!!!

I'm so sorry about your sons. I wish I could reach right through this computer and give you a big hug. Consider one sent your way!

Hi,

I am truly sorry to hear about your sons. No mother should have to endure that and my heart goes out to you. Christmas around the world knitters swap? I love things like that. I'd love to be able to knit to but thats a different story. Have a great week.

This feast is very well done. I am so sad to hear of your sons. I know that they, like my Dad and many others I loved, are in a better place now, but it's the ones left behind that hurt. I can well understand that you would want to forget those days.

Great feast! I'm so surprised at how many people chose South Carolina as their soup choice. I'm in Upstate SC! I'm very sorry about your sons! That has to be so hard for you!

Hope you have a great weekend! May your new year be blessed!

Jennifer :-)
