Success is doing!

As I posted earlier my first experience making socks was less than satisfactory.
I ended up with socks that were too big, puckered and a depressed spirit.

It took some gentle encouragement from a fellow knitting buddy from my knitting list. Gail sent me some gorgeous handpainted wool, a pattern and loads of nudging. Taking up the dpns again, I tried because "if at first you don't succeed, try, try again!"

And after 5 days of knitting success was found.

They turned out great. They fit and no puckering at the heel. I am in love...LOL

I see many pairs of handmade socks in my future.

I love the socks, I have tried knitting socks in 4 ply twice, and lost patience, but I am now inspired to have another go! Check out my blog, knittykittkatchat.blogspot.com
